CERTIFICATE OF ACCESSION TO THE EUROPEAN CHARTER FOR SUSTAINABLE
TOURISM

Only twenty-five companies in the
region of Subbética that have been certified to adhere
to EUROPARC awarded the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism
(CETS). Among them are three belonging to the municipality of
Carcabuey. Casa Rural La Pililla has successfully passed the stages
of this process and received last July 28 certification from the
hands of the Minister for the Environment.
The European Charter for Sustainable
Tourism in Protected Natural Areas (CETS) is an initiative of
the Federation EUROPARC which aims to promote global tourism development
in terms of sustainability in protected natural areas in Europe.
CETS is a method and a voluntary commitment to implement sustainable
tourism principles, guiding managers of protected natural areas
and enterprises to define their strategies in a participatory
manner.
